A massive presence in Charlotte hospitality, Jim & James’ property portfolio, The Home Collection, has been a staple short-term stay community in Charlotte since 2010, and has been an inspiration of what we do here at Rabbu. Since our inception, we’ve engaged and built a relationship with Jim & James, exchanging ideas and collaborating over time. As Jim & James celebrated nearly 12 years in the Charlotte community, they decided to move on to life’s next great venture and sell The Home Collection, hoping that its legacy will continue to live on. As our relationship with Jim & James has been nurtured and grown, they called on us to help ensure a seamless sale that would allow The Home Collection to remain a Charlotte staple.

Having looked up to The Home Collection as an early adopter of the short-term stay model, Rabbu was eager to help their legacy and hard work live on. We engaged our captive buyers community to source 4 serious investors interested in buying Jim & James’ portfolio. To ease the transition between both parties, Rabbu provided data for underwriting, made connections with lenders who could provide financing, and provided education to the buyers to ensure a turnkey operation was in place.

Jim & James retired after 12 long, successful years with peace of mind that their property was in good hands and that their meaningful legacy will live on. With a shortened selling time and lowered commission rate, Jim & James enjoyed higher yields from their sale with the least amount of friction during the process. As Jim & James take on life’s next greatest adventure, The Home Collection will remain a Charlotte staple under new ownership, managed and cared for by Rabbu.
